A canned salsa made with onions, jalepenos, and carrots. Can use as a garnish on a variety of foods, and is excellent when mixed with melted white cheese to make a queso.
Ingredients
- ⅓ part Onions
- ⅓ part Jalapeños
- ⅓ part Carrots
- Brine:
- 6 cups water
- 2 1/2 cups vinegar
- 1/3 cup canning salt
Instructions
- Chop vegetables into small pieces.
- Fill jars.
- Make brine.
- Pour boiling brine into jars.
- Hot water bath 10-20 min. or put jars in a 300 oven for 25min.
- Leave jars in oven till cool.
